I visited Manji again, whom I'd first met in Perion, when making the medicine for Maya of Henesys. Surprised at how much stronger I've become, Manji asked me for a favor. Long ago, when he was in danger of being struck down by Balrog, he was saved by the legendary hero Tristan, who ended up dying in Manji's place. Ever since then, Manji has held onto Tristan's sword. However, the blade was so corrupted by Balrog that it's almost too worn down to even be called a sword anymore... Manji handed me the Old Gladius that he'd held onto all these years and asked me to reawaken its true form. Once fully awakened, it will become the Hero's Gladius. Manji told me to begin with seeking out Chrishrama in Sleepywood.
